BVB Post Quake update
Hi all, We have had a lot of notes and emails asking about the status of the BVB, apologies for the delay with our update. The earthquake meant each BVB member has faced challenges to work and home life of varying degrees. We are still out there gigging but due to the closure of the CBD, the BVB we have mainly been performing at private engagements rather than public shows. We will be back on the pub circuit when suitable venues outside of the CBD come to light. We have been discussing gigs with a few bars and also intend to put on another barn dance before too long. Don't forget we are available to hire if anyone is putting on a party and drop us a line if you have alternative suggestions for venues. Since Feb 22, Dove has taken an opportunity in Melbourne so we introduced master ChCh bass man John Sneddon to the fold. David took a wee break in the UK to introduce his new daughter to family. We have had former members including Stomping Nick, Johnny Ginger and Stevie fiddle back in the frame for various gigs and Cam has just made his move on Sydney.
